Lori Simmons has a diverse range of work experience in marketing and communications. Lori started their career in 1993 at TRW, where they worked in marketing and business development until 1998. From 1998 to 2000, they served as a Senior Marketing Manager at GCSAA. In 2000, Simmons joined the University of Saint Mary as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for a year. From 2003 to 2014, they held the position of Director of Marketing & Public Relations at Armed Forces Insurance. Lori then advanced to Assistant Vice President, responsible for marketing strategies and communications until 2016. From 2016 to 2021, Simmons served as the Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer at Armed Forces Insurance. In 2015, they also took on the role of President of the Armed Forces Insurance Foundation and became a Member of the Board of Directors at NaVOBA. Starting in 2016, they joined the Executive Council of the Armed Forces Bowl. Simmons is currently the Vice President and Chief Growth Officer at Armed Forces Insurance. Additionally, they are an Advisory Council Member for the Military Warriors Support Foundation.

Lori Simmons has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from La Salle University. Lori also obtained an Executive Certificate in Internet Marketing from Saint Louis University and a Certification in Training Development from the University of Oklahoma.
