Hannah Tan

Hannah Tan is an Emergency Medical Technician at Armstrong Ambulance, where responsibilities include responding to 911 emergencies, providing life support, and delivering detailed patient reports to medical staff since August 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Tufts University from February 2021 to August 2022, where research focused on the mechanism of GAA repeat expansions related to Friedreich's Ataxia in HEK293T cells. Hannah also worked as a Barista at Starbucks Coffee Hong Kong in July 2020, contributing to customer service in a team-oriented environment. In July 2019, Hannah participated as a Clinical Observer at St John of God Health Care, shadowing a colorectal surgeon and engaging in patient examinations and surgical observations. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Tufts University, Hannah's educational background includes graduating from Hong Kong International School in 2020.
