Katie Doherty

Katie Doherty is an adjunct assistant professor at Saint Louis University School of Law since January 2024 and an associate attorney at Armstrong Teasdale LLP, where involvement in the litigation group focuses on defense work in product and premises liability and asbestos litigation. Katie co-leads the firm's LGBTQ+ working group and is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and pro bono initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as an associate at MG+M Law Firm and Kurowski Shultz LLC, as well as a corrections officer for St. Louis County. Katie began their career as a senior veterinary technician at Howdershell Animal Clinic. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and a B.S. in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Lindenwood University.
