Matthew MacDonough

Matthew MacDonough is a Patent Scientist at Armstrong Teasdale since August 2022, bringing extensive experience from previous roles as a Technology Specialist at Stradley Ronon and a Technical Specialist at Pepper Hamilton LLP. A Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from October 2013 to August 2016, Matthew focused on synthetic development of PET imaging agents for nuclear hormone receptor imaging with applications in breast and prostate cancer treatment. Education includes a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, both from Baylor University. During studies at Baylor Graduate School, Matthew engaged in research on indole-based vascular disrupting agents and bioreductive prodrugs for cancer therapy.
