Job Summary

We are expanding and looking for a Luxury Director of Sales that will oversee all luxury retail locations within the US region. This role requires you to be a passionate Brand Ambassador and the business leader who conveys the Brand philosophy and values to the local market, the Store team and to the final Client; To be an extremely driven business owner and hold yourself accountable for achieving a successful overall store performance by developing business and actions plans; To maximize sales, ensuring profits through a careful management of operating expenses, seamlessly executing all activities to achieve the targets; To guarantee excellence in Client experience, leading by example to placing the Client above all; To motivate and inspire leaders and provide mentorships to my teams by working closely with them; To set the teams up for success through succession planning and ensuring internal growth; To manage staff and coordinate all operating activities according to the guidelines; To oversee and develop the stores’ structure. To promote the cooperation and synergy between the Retail Operations Department, Retail Merchandising, Visual Merchandising and Communication teams; To convey univocal messages to stores and identify business development solutions all with continuously keeping a positive working environment through trusting relationships, hard work and teamwork. This role will require travel up to 80% travel time within the US Region to ensure our standards of luxury are upheld in each location.

Essential Duties

  • Oversee all locations within the US region.

  • Develop and execute a strategy to maximize sales and growth, while monitoring that each location meets daily, weekly, and monthly quotas.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer base and collaborate with our Marketing Team to identify new opportunities to roll out marketing initiatives and build brand recognition and increase sales volume.

  • Provide leadership and support to the Store Managers and their teams by conducting regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

  • Ensure all teams deliver consistent and exceptional white glove customer experiences to our valued clientele to build brand loyalty and strong relationships.

  • Analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including inventory management and visual merchandising standards.

  • Controlling costs with vendors, payroll, store supplies, etc. to maximize revenue.

  • Identifying staff problems and addressing them and issue corrective actions if needed.

  • Define and supervise the Performance Management process, from the assignment and assessment of objectives to the analysis and development of the competencies required in cooperation with the Human Resources Functions.

  • Develop and coach the Store Managers, supporting them to become true brand ambassadors and making sure they are the best players in the market.

  • Strive to recruit the most talented people and to build the best store management representation in the luxury goods industry.

  • In cooperation with Human Resources, define staff requirements for stores, presenting the necessary reviews of the organizational structures and the relevant requirements in terms of headcount to improve performances and ensure staff productivity is maximized.

  • Oversee the retail event calendar for the market, cooperate for effective and timely event activities, propose opportunities to gain new clients, maintain product and VM needs for events.

  • Delivers operational excellence in all stores and are aligned with Company standards.

  • Manage store schedules including paid time offs (vacation, personal and sick time).

  • Coordinate, manage and work with store management on all buys to ensure we are maximizing selections, adhering to current looks and inspiration and staying within budgets.

  • Maintain communication with the headquarters to ensure all deadlines are met and requests are followed through.

  • Oversee stores’ results and implement tailored actions aimed at maximizing sales/KPIs and improving performance.

  • Provide with proper objectives (monthly/yearly/daily), ensuring follow-ups, and proposing and implementing any corrective measures.

  • Weekly manager’s meetings via Microsoft Teams to ensure all strategies and action plans are discussed with a focus on sharing success, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Routine store visits as needed and whenever possible especially when top clients are visiting.

  • Management of all processes and procedures concerning product (delivery, stockroom management, product handling, inventories, etc.) including but not limited to implementation of all stockroom and maintenance procedures.

  • Provide updated customer mapping of the customer database for each single store, guaranteeing alignment with Company standards of personalized loyalty actions.

  • Oversees the client portfolio of all stores ensuring appropriate actions are implemented with focus on building loyalty and growing customer spend.

  • Actively monitor the client growth performance and work with each Store Manager to define dedicated actions to foster customer loyalty.

  • Proactively partner with the Store Manager to develop the Clients database to ensure growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

  • Willing to travel up to 80% of the time

  • 10+ years of experience in Retail Operations

  • 5+ years in a Director or Regional Sales role

  • Proven experience in Experience in luxury, fashion, hospitality or high-end retail

  • Proven track record of identifying opportunities, designing and implementing strategies to develop business

  • Flexibility with frequent domestic and international travel

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance data and make strategic recommendations.

  • Deep understanding of luxury market trends and customer preferences.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
