Charleen W.

Charleen W. is a skilled software engineer currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Arphie since February 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Software Engineer IV on the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team at Samsara from August 2020 to July 2023, where Charleen led quarterly planning and implemented team mechanisms, designed an internal Slack bot for outage resolution tracking, and enhanced the service level objective (SLO) platform for improved customer impact. Additionally, Charleen interned at Samsara, Inc. as an Assets Full Stack Intern, contributed to website design and performance at Better Off Brunching, taught web development and Python to students through the MIT China Educational Technology Initiative, conducted research in Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and co-founded an independent game design studio while studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, from which Charleen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2020.
