Hiba A. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Hiba started their career in 2006, working in training roles at BankMed and The National Commercial Bank - AlahliNCB. In 2009, they joined CSC Group as a Junior Relationship Officer, where they handled tasks such as formulating reports, responding to client requests, and ensuring the proper settlement of claims. Hiba was later promoted to Senior Relationship Officer before leaving in 2011. Since 2013, Hiba has been working at Arqaam Capital, initially holding the position of Account Opening - AML / KYC Specialist. Their responsibilities included implementing and managing account opening procedures, coordinating with local staff, and ensuring compliance with international regulatory standards. Hiba then progressed to roles of increasing seniority, serving as Group Account Opening & Deputy MLRO and Associate Director Compliance & Deputy MLRO. Currently, Hiba is employed by Arqaam Capital as a Compliance Director & DMLRO.

Hiba A. has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Banking & Finance Management from C&E American University in Beirut, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. In 2015, they attended CCL Academy and obtained a degree in International Compliance Officer. In 2016, they obtained a certificate in International AML officer from the same institution. From 2020 to 2021, Hiba attended the International Compliance Association and completed the International Diploma in GRC. In 2022, they also completed a course titled "Introduction to International Securities & Investments" at The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI). In 2023, Hiba completed a course on UAE rules and Regulations in Investments and Securities at The CISI.
