Ahmed Sedik has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades.
Ahmed started their career as a Junior Accountant at a Consulting Office for Legal & Taxes Consultations from 2000 to 2002.
From 2002 to 2009, they worked as a Financial Analyst at the Egyptian Electric Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency (EEUCPRA), where they evaluated and analyzed the financial performance of regulated utilities.
After that, they joined GfK as an Accounting Manager from 2009 to 2011, where they managed and supervised the financial department's operations and provided staff training.
From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Offerna as an Accounting Manager, responsible for assessing organizational performance, developing tools for financial and operational information, and engaging management in finance-related matters.
Ahmed joined Basharsoft in 2015 as a Financial Controller, where they held the position until 2022. Ahmed'srole there involved financial control and overseeing financial activities.
Currently, Ahmed is working as a Finance Manager at ArqamFC, where they report to the CEO and is responsible for financial planning and analysis, maintaining financial reports, and conducting business activity analysis.

Ahmed began their education at Orman Experimental Language School from 1983 to 1996, where they completed their high school education with a focus on mathematics.
After completing high school, Ahmed attended Cairo University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a specialization in Accounting and Finance.
Following their bachelor's degree, Ahmed pursued further education at The American University in Cairo from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a diploma in Modern Accounting.
In 2005, Ahmed enrolled in the Institute of Management Accountants and completed their studies in Certified Financial Manager (CFM), specializing in Financial Planning and Services, by 2006.
From 2006 to 2008, Ahmed continued their education at the Institute of Management Accountants and earned a certification as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with a focus on Accounting and Business/Management.
In 2009, Ahmed attended the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, where they pursued studies in Investment and received a diploma in the field by 2013.
Throughout their educational journey, Ahmed has also obtained additional certifications. In 2008, they obtained the CFM certification from the Institute of Management Accountants. In 2008, they also obtained the CMA certification, although the specific institution is unknown. In 2014, Ahmed achieved a Certificate in International Financial Reporting for SMEs from ACCA.
