Griffin Schroeder

Griffin Schroeder began their work experience in 2016 as a Research Assistant at Southwest University. In 2018, they joined the University of Rochester Medical Center as a Graduate Student. During this time, Griffin made significant contributions by discovering an unprecedented RNA-small molecule interaction in the preQ1 class I type I riboswitch. They solved the crystal structure of a small 34-mer RNA and validated their findings through in vitro and in vivo experiments. In 2023, Griffin joined Arrakis Therapeutics as a Scientist, where they continue to contribute their expertise.

Griffin Schroeder began their education in 2014 at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biochemistry. They completed their undergraduate degree in 2018. Following this, Griffin continued their studies at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, starting in 2018. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology.
