Hunter Linton has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant for the University of Michigan Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program, where they gained experience with PCR, BCA assays, and western imaging, and researched relevant literature pertaining to head and neck cell carcinoma treatments. In 2016, they worked as a Resident Advisor and Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where they created and implemented community building and awareness programs to help meet residents' academic and social needs, mentored, tutored, counseled, and advised over 200 residents, drafted and edited a research proposal, gathered insoluble material from extracellular matrices of femoral and tibial cells, and organized mass laboratory data acquired through Microsoft Excel. In 2019, they worked as a Research Technician at the University of Michigan, where they researched the effects of the aggregation of ubiquitin-like proteins on fronto-temporal disorders such as Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Parkinson's, gained wet lab experience and knowledge of biochemical and cell-based assays, and transformed and expressed cells in order to derive protein through purification. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Senior Research Associate at Arrakis Therapeutics.
Hunter Linton attended the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts from 2014 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience.
