Andrea Garcia has over 12 years of work experience. Andrea began their career in 2009 as a Photographer's Assistant at Creative Imaging by Robert Garcia. In 2013, they became an International Affairs & Trade Intern at the California Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development, where they researched and analyzed California and China based companies to initiate relationships and grow the California economy. In 2014, they joined MFS Investment Management as a Global Investment Services (GIS) Global Production Specialist, where they collaborated daily with the Desktop Project Manager and other GIS team members to create, update, improve, amend, edit, and proofread quarterly customized reports, presentations and deliverables for institutional clients. In 2016, they became a Business Development Co-op at Opinno, where they developed strategy and generated content for IN3, an entrepreneurship and innovation driven initiative and conference organized by the U.S. Embassy in Madrid. In 2017, they joined Fundera by NerdWallet as a Manager, Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, Manager, Sales & Customer Success, and Senior Account Executive, Funding Advisor. In their role as a Funding Advisor, they managed a book of business of 500+ accounts with $547M under management of clients that have funded through Fundera's network. Finally, in 2022, they became a Client Partner Lead at Array.

Andrea Garcia attended Amador Valley High School from 2009 to 2012. Andrea then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Northeastern University, where they studied Spanish, Marketing, and Global Social Entrepreneurship from 2012 to 2017. During this time, they also participated in the Programa E-4 at the Instituto Católico de Administración y Dirección de Empresas at Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 2015 to 2016.
