María Bergua Estévez

María Bergua Estévez has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. María currently holds the position of COO at ARRAYS FOR CELL NANODEVICES, SL - A4CELL since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a CTO at the same company from March 2022 to July 2022.

Before joining A4CELL, María worked as a Personal científico at Binartis Genomics from January 2022 to March 2022.

María has also worked at Accenture España, where they held the role of Strategy & Consulting Senior Consultant from May 2015 to January 2022.

Early in their career, María worked for GE as a Sales Strategy Analyst from November 2012 to March 2014.

María Bergua Estévez has a diverse education history. María started their education journey in 2002 at Escuela oficial de Idiomas, where they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English (C1) in 2007. In 2008, they enrolled at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and pursued a degree in Ingeniería mecánica, which they successfully completed in 2014. During their time at the university, they also had the opportunity to study abroad through the Erasmus program at Viniaus Gedimino Technikos Universitetas in Lithuania from 2010 to 2011.

In 2014, María further expanded their education by obtaining a Certificate in A2 German from Universität des Saarlandes. In 2019, they engaged in a program focused on Robotics, AI, and Machine Learning at The Valley Digital Business School. Additionally, they pursued an Executive MBA at IE Business School from 2019 to 2020, which added to their business acumen.

Currently, María is pursuing a Máster Universitario en Ingeniería Biomédica at VIU - Universidad Internacional de Valencia, indicating their interest in the intersection of engineering and healthcare.
