Rafael Adame possesses extensive experience in the engineering and technology sectors, having held significant positions at prominent companies within the film and television industry. Currently serving as the Technology and Service Manager and formerly as Technical Marketing Executive at ARRI Rental since January 2017, Rafael previously worked at Panavision from 2000 to 2016 as VP of Engineering, where responsibility included the development of Panavision’s Next Generation Camera System. Prior roles included Director of Engineering at Panavision, where contributions were made to the first 35mm single sensor digital camera for film, and Director of Engineering at Sony Pictures HD Center, overseeing installation and maintenance of HD postproduction equipment. Rafael began career as a Senior Field Service Engineer at Sony Electronics Inc., focusing on high definition television equipment. Rafael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
