Melanie Davis

Melanie Davis is a senior software engineer at Arrived. Melanie has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, including roles at UVIMCO, AIG, TIAA, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Melanie began their career as a financial analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in 1998. Melanie then moved to TIAA in 1999, where they worked as an analyst for five years. In 2004, they joined AIG as managing director of alternative investments. In this role, they oversaw hedge funds, private equity, and other external investment mandates. Melanie also managed the company's direct and public equities portfolios. Melanie left AIG in 2015 to become managing director at UVIMCO, where they oversaw the University of Virginia's investment portfolio. Melanie held this position for four years before joining Arrived in 2019.

Melanie Davis has a MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in Economics from Tufts University. Melanie is also certified from the CFA Institute in CFA.

They work with Josh Bean - Senior Software Engineer, Eli Robinson - Lead Software Engineer, and Kacey Cleveland - Senior Software Engineer. Melanie Davis reports to Kenny Cason, Co-founder & CTO.
