Marcin Kowanetz

Marcin Kowanetz is an accomplished biopharma executive currently serving as Vice President of Translational Medicine at ArriVent Biopharma since March 2022. Prior to this role, Marcin was Vice President of Biomarkers, Translational Science, and Target Validation at Bolt Biotherapeutics, Inc. from September 2018 to March 2022, having previously held the position of Senior Director in the same division. Marcin's career in the industry began at Genentech, where a focus on oncology biomarker development spanned over a decade from November 2005 to September 2018, progressing from Scientist to Senior Scientist. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, where Marcin was a PhD student from 2001 to 2005, and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular and Cell Biology from Jagiellonian University, obtained in 2001.
