Shawn Sandy

Shawn Sandy has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President of Software Engineering at arrivia, where they are responsible for setting technical strategy and delivering quality solutions. Shawn has a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving innovation in the membership and travel industries. Shawn is skilled in building high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and mentoring team members. Prior to their current role, they worked as the Vice President of Application Engineering at arrivia and previously held positions at International Cruise & Excursions, Inc. (ICE), Computer Guidance Corporation, CAST, and NetWolves. In these roles, they demonstrated expertise in managing teams, leading IT initiatives, adopting Agile Scrum methodologies, and developing software solutions using various technologies.

Shawn Sandy has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the University of South Florida.
