Joe Michels

Joe Michels is an accomplished HR executive with extensive experience spanning several industries. Currently serving as CHRO and leading 8020 implementation at Arrowhead Engineered Products since June 2023, Joe also guides leadership on embedding the 8020 framework into company culture at The 80/20 Institute. Joe held the position of Vice President of Global Human Resources at Alliance Laundry Systems LLC from September 2017 to December 2021. Prior roles include significant contributions at IDEX Corporation, where Joe served as VP of Human Resources for multiple segments, and at EFCO Corp, where Joe was VP of Administration and CHRO. Joe's career commenced at Pella Corp, first as HR Manager for subsidiaries and then as Director of Human Resources. Education includes a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a BA in Human Resources Management from the University of Northern Iowa.
