David Itiro Kasahara

David Itiro Kasahara, Ph.D., ATSF, is a distinguished Principal Scientist in Discovery Pharmacology at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals since June 2020. With over a decade of experience in research and academia, prior roles include Research Scientist and Research Associate at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where significant contributions were made in understanding the role of ILC in obesity-related asthma and the differential functions of ROCK1 and ROCK2. Additional experience includes positions at Casma Therapeutics as Sr. Scientist I in vivo pharmacology and various roles in postdoctoral associations and academic institutions, including as an Assistant Professor at Uninove. Dr. Kasahara holds a PhD and MSc in Pathology from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, complemented by a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the same institution.
