Ayman R. Kafal

Ayman R. Kafal has had a varied work experience in the medical field since 2002. In that year, they began working as a Clinical Lab Scientist at CHU Sainte-Justine. In 2003, they moved to Health Canada | Santé Canada, where they worked as a Public Health Consultant & Epidemiology Facilitator. Ayman R. then joined Eli Lilly Canada in 2006 as a Medical Science Liaison (Men’s and Women’s Health). In 2009, they began working at CSL Behring, where they held various roles, including Medical Director & Therapeutic Area Lead (Immunology & Neurology), National MSL Field Team Leader / North America Medical Affairs, Associate Medical Director (Interim Medical Director June 2014-June 2016), Associate Director, Medical Science Liaisons Leader, and National Medical Science Liaison (Immunology, Neurology & Coagulation). In 2020, they joined Aquestive Therapeutics as Head of Medical Affairs, Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance. In 2023, they began their current role as Vice President, Medical Affairs at ARS Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Ayman R. Kafal has a BSc in Anatomy & Cell Biology from McGill University, a PhD in Epidemiology from University of Montreal / Walden University, an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from HEC Montréal, and an MSc in Toxicology (Risk Analysis) from Université de Montréal. Additionally, they obtained a ISMPP Certified Medical Publication Professional™ (ISMPP CMPP™) certification from ISMPP (International Society for Medical Publication Professionals) in October 2020.
