Denny Maula

Denny Maula has a diverse work experience in the legal and contracts field. They started their career as a Document Specialist at DLA Piper in 1999 and later worked as a Case Assistant at Gordon & Rees LLP from 2002 to 2004. They then joined Foley & Lardner LLP as a Paralegal from 2004 to 2007. Denny also worked as a Paralegal at Wolfenzon Schulman & Ryan in 2007. In 2009, they took on the roles of Paralegal/Contracts Manager at Pacific Coast Steel and Vendor Management Administrator at Mission Federal Credit Union.

From 2011 to 2019, Denny worked at Illumina, where they started as a Contracts Analyst before being promoted to Senior Contract Analyst and subsequently Manager, AMR Contracts Admin. Their responsibilities included drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial agreements, as well as drafting and reviewing various types of agreements such as CDAs, NDAs, MTAs, and more.

Denny then joined PPD in 2020 as a Principal Contracts Specialist, where their main tasks involved managing the preparation, negotiation, and finalization of clinical trial agreements, CDA's, clinical trial budgets, and payment schedules. They also ensured quality, objectivity, and risk analysis in the negotiation process while establishing effective relationships with clients and internal teams.

In 2022, Denny worked as an Associate Contracts Manager at PPD before transitioning to the role of Corporate Paralegal and Contracts Specialist at RayzeBio in October 2022. Their responsibilities at RayzeBio included managing and overseeing contracts.

Currently, Denny works at ARS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Senior Paralegal and Manager of Legal Affairs.

Denny Maula attended the University of San Diego from 2006 to 2007. During this time, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2005, Denny attended Southwestern Community College, where they obtained a degree in Legal Studies.
