Jordan Kantor

Jordan Kantor has a diverse work experience in the art industry. Jordan is currently serving as the Artistic Director at Art Blocks Inc. Jordan has also held various roles at California College of the Arts, including Professor, Chair of the Graduate Fine Arts Program, Chair of the Painting and Drawing Program, and Associate Professor. As an artist, Jordan Kantor has worked independently since 1995. Additionally, they co-founded and serves as Editor-at-Large at no place press. Jordan has contributed as a writer to Artforum International Magazine and BOMB Magazine. In terms of their curatorial experience, they have served as an Assistant Curator at The Museum of Modern Art, a Chester Dale Fellow at the National Gallery of Art, and a Guest Curator/Andrew W. Mellon Intern at Harvard Art Museums.

Jordan Kantor has an AM and PhD degree in History of Art and Architecture from Harvard University. Jordan also holds an AB degree from Stanford University, where they studied History, Art, and Honors in Humanities Special Programs. In 1993-1994, they attended Universität der Künste Berlin, focusing on Studio Art.
