Mark Stammers

Mark Stammers is an experienced graphic designer and educator with a robust professional background in visual communication and design. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Mark teaches various courses, including Intermediate Graphic Design and Typography, and has previously held the role of Adjunct Assistant Professor at the same institution. Mark's extensive freelance practice, Stammers Design, focuses on trademark design, print collateral, and interface design. Prior experience includes a senior lecturing position at Auckland University of Technology, as well as roles at notable firms such as Grady, Campbell Inc. and American Hospital Publishing. Mark's areas of expertise include experimental typography, identity design, and visual structures. An alumnus of the Rhode Island School of Design and the University of Canterbury, Mark holds a Master of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
