Adjoa Burrowes is a seasoned visual artist, author, and educator with extensive experience in art education and community engagement. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of the District of Columbia, Burrowes has maintained a successful artistic practice since 2000, creating and exhibiting mixed-media artworks and authoring children's books. Previous roles include Visual Art Faculty at Flint Hill School and Teaching Artist positions at notable institutions such as The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Project Youth ArtReach.
