Gian Ellis-Gannell is an experienced professional currently serving as an External Relations Intern at Global Infrastructure Hub since October 2022, where responsibilities include social media and content development. Currently a reporter for Honi Soit since March 2021, Gian contributes articles on opinion, news, and lifestyle to the University of Sydney’s student newspaper. As Office Manager at Cherrybrook Travel since October 2018, duties encompass client booking management, website design, marketing, and administration. Gian also works as a Senior Academic Tutor at Art of Smart Education, specializing in year 11-12 subjects, and coaches debating teams at Loreto Normanhurst. Additional experience includes directing reviews for the ASEAN-Australia Strategic Youth Partnership and co-facilitating a conversation circle on women and climate justice at the Commission on the Status of Women. Gian is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Advanced Studies in Politics and International Relations at the University of Sydney, alongside a residential college education at Sancta Sophia College.
