Caesar Sengupta

Caesar Sengupta has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Caesar is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Arta Finance since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Founding Philanthropist at The/Nudge Institute from October 2021.

Caesar spent a significant portion of their career at Google, where they held several leadership positions. Caesar served as the Vice President and General Manager for Payments & Next Billion Users from January 2018 to April 2021. Before that, they were the Vice President and General Manager for Next Billion Users. Caesar also acted as the Vice President & Product Lead for ChromeOS and worked as a Product Manager for Google Toolbar, Google Desktop, and Payments.

Before joining Google, Caesar had a role as a Summer Associate (Strategy) at Standard Chartered Bank in 2005.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Encentuate (acquired by IBM in 2008) from September 2002 to June 2004. Caesar also served as a Member of Research Staff at Hewlett Packard Labs from July 2001 to September 2002.

Caesar Sengupta pursued their education at Stanford University from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained a Master of Science degree with Distinction in Research in the field of Computer Science. Following this, they attended The Wharton School from 2004 to 2006, completing their Master of Business Administration degree.
