Alexey Tatarinov

Alexey Tatarinov has extensive experience in research and development, currently serving as a Visiting Research Scientist at Artann Laboratories, Inc since 2009, focusing on projects related to ultrasonic bone scanning for osteoporosis assessment and other medical applications of ultrasonic and optical measurements. Prior to this, Alexey worked as a Consultant at Algorego Ltd in Riga, Latvia from 2008 to 2010, providing management and consulting services in R&D for optical sensors in medical applications. Alexey's academic background includes a role as a Research Scientist and Lecturer at Riga Technical University from 1995 to 2001, specializing in Biomedical Engineering and Ultrasound, as well as a position at the Latvian Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics from 1985 to 1995 in the Department of Biomechanics and Biomaterials. Alexey holds a Doctor of Science in Engineering degree with a focus on Civil Engineering, Biomechanics, and Ultrasonics from Riga Technical University, completed between 1975 and 1984.
