Toby Childs

Toby Childs is an experienced Engagement Manager at Artemis Connection since September 2021, overseeing teams servicing public, private, and nonprofit clients, while also enhancing internal business development processes. Previously, Toby served as a Strategist and Senior Project Manager at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where notable projects included a product connecting over 3,500 companies to the NYC government for PPE manufacturing and a $157M broadband expansion project. As the Founding Director of JiggerAct, Toby developed a jigger treatment and education program benefiting over 2,000 Rwandan students. Additional experience includes roles at MIT D-Lab, Edusim, Mama Hope, and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. Toby holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Columbia University and has extensive educational qualifications in various fields, including UX/UI Design and a double major in Philosophy and Studio Art from Bates College.
