Bryan Overholt has a diverse range of work experience. Bryan began their career at COSI - Center of Science & Industry in 2008 as a Guest & Safety Services Team Leader, where they supervised guests, employees, and volunteers while ensuring customer safety. In 2010, Bryan joined Bexley Public Library as a Children's and Teen Librarian, managing a team of volunteers and overseeing programming and outreach committees. Bryan also served as an Adult Services Librarian - Audiovisual Specialist, handling the procurement and cataloging of audiovisual materials.
Bryan's next role was at Columbus Metropolitan Library in 2021 as a Librarian. Bryan developed relationships with customers, with a particular emphasis on engaging young people, and took charge of a small branch.
In 2017, Bryan became a Promotions Team Member for the Columbus Blue Jackets, where they enhanced the game day experience for fans through engagement and in-game activities. Bryan also represented the organization positively at community events.
Lastly, Bryan currently holds the position of Director of Research at Artemis Consultants, a role they started in 2022. Bryan collaborates closely with search managers and the sales team to create an extensive pipeline of candidates using a range of sourcing strategies. Bryan has successfully generated a pool of over 17,000 qualified candidates and key contacts, resulting in a 10% increase in the company's ATS database.
Bryan Overholt attended Sidney High School from 1997 to 2001. Bryan then pursued an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies and Music at Edison State Community College from 2001 to 2003. Bryan later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Film from Ohio University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. In 2008, they went on to achieve a Master of Library and Information Science degree from Kent State University.
