Ian Hamilton

Ian Hamilton has extensive work experience in risk management and audit. Ian started their career as an Audit Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick in 1989 and then moved on to become the Global Head of Risk Management at Henderson Global Investors from 1996 to 2006. After that, they worked as the Head of Operational Assurance at Barclays Wealth for a year. From 2007 to 2013, they served as the Head of European Risk Management at Fidelity International. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Risk at Artemis Investment Management since 2013.

Ian Hamilton attended Ayr Academy from 1980 to 1985 for their secondary education. Ian then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Economics and Accounting at the University of Strathclyde from 1985 to 1989.
