Amir Hajian

Amir Hajian has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Amir'smost recent role is as the Vice President of Data Science at Arteria AI, where they lead teams in the development of AI solutions for understanding unstructured data in complex documents. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Applied Research at Scribd, where they established and led the AI team in creating innovative machine learning products. Before Scribd, Amir held positions at Thomson Reuters, where they served as the Director of AI Research and co-founded the company's labs in Canada. Amir also worked at the University of Toronto and Princeton University as a Senior Research Associate and Research Scientist, respectively. Amir's expertise lies in machine learning, AI, and data science, and they have a proven track record of building successful teams and delivering impactful solutions.

Amir Hajian has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics from Sharif University of Technology. Amir also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Physics from the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences, Zanjan. Furthermore, Amir completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astrophysics at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics.
