Tugrul Guner

Tugrul Guner has a diverse work experience in the fields of machine learning, data science, and entrepreneurship. Tugrul is currently employed as a Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer at Arteria AI since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Novisto as a Machine Learning Operations Engineer from February 2022 to September 2022. Tugrul also held the role of Product Manager and Data Science Researcher at PredictNow.ai Inc from December 2021 to September 2022. Tugrul has experience in academia as well, working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Ottawa from April 2021 to February 2022 and at the Université INRS from December 2018 to March 2021. In addition, they have worked as a Founder at Microscobot from September 2020 to March 2021 and Quantum Future from March 2020 to December 2020. Tugrul has also been involved in entrepreneurship, serving as an Entrepreneur in Acceleration at Centech Mtl from September 2020 to December 2020. Tugrul Guner earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics from Bilkent University from 2006 to 2011. Tugrul then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Physics from Izmir Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2014. Tugrul's educational journey continued as they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science and Engineering from Izmir Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Tugrul Guner obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field. Tugrul completed the Machine Learning Engineer with Microsoft Azure Nanodegree Program from Udacity in February 2022, and the Machine Learning DevOps Engineer Nanodegree Program from Udacity in December 2021.
