Matthew Barker

Matthew Barker, CPA, CA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Finance - Assistant Controller at Arterra Wines Canada since June 2017. Matthew has held various senior roles at Arterra, including Senior Manager positions in Assistant Controllership and Accounting and Financial Reporting. Prior to this, Matthew worked at SunOpta from November 2014 to June 2017 as Manager of Financial Reporting and Senior Financial Analyst. Earlier in Matthew's career, Deloitte Canada provided opportunities to develop skills as Assistant Manager and Senior Accountant in Assurance & Advisory from January 2011 to October 2014, along with a co-op position as Staff Accountant from May 2008 to December 2009. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University, completed in 2010.
