Acma Shashini Premalal Cgma, Bba (Hons)

Shashini Premalal is a qualified professional with extensive experience in finance and accounting. Currently serving as an Account Manager at Artex Risk Solutions since March 2023, Shashini previously held the position of Assistant Manager - Supervision at the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka from August 2013 to March 2023, where responsibilities included evaluating the financial stability of insurance and brokering companies through financial statement reviews. Prior to this, Shashini worked as a Fund Accountant at HSBC Global Banking and Markets from November 2009 to July 2013, focusing on the preparation and compliance of financial statements for hedge and private equity funds. Shashini holds a BBA (Hons) from the University of Colombo, a Diploma in Insurance Practices from the Insurance Institute of India, and is a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) from the UK.
