David Everitt Howe

David Everitt Howe is a highly experienced arts editor and critic, currently serving as the Senior Arts Editor at Pioneer Works Art Foundation since December 2021. Howe has contributed to several prominent publications, including Artforum International Magazine as an Art Critic since March 2019, and BOMB Magazine as a Contributing Editor and Online Art Editor since June 2015. An Art Critic for Art in America since February 2010, Howe's previous roles include Curator at Pioneer Works from 2013 to 2020 and Associate Director at Dirty Looks NYC between July 2012 and July 2015. Howe has also held positions as Curatorial/Development Associate at PARTICIPANT, INC. and Curator in Residence at Abrons Arts Center. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Modern Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fibers from Savannah College of Art and Design.
