Hanlu Zhang

Hanlu Zhang is an experienced art professional with a focus on curation and editorial work. Currently serving as Associate Editor at Artforum International Magazine since January 2017, Zhang has also held the position of Associate Curator for Cosmopolis 2 at Centre Pompidou. Previous roles include Curator/Program Manager at 49B Studios and NLE Lab Curator at No Longer Empty. Zhang's career began at The Art Institute of Chicago as an MFA Show Curatorial Fellow, where responsibilities included coordinating exhibitions and events. Educational background includes a Master of Arts in Art History, Theory and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art and Architecture, Film Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. Additionally, experience includes an internship with the Carnegie Mellon International Film Festival.
