Pedro Fernandez Nohales is currently the Director of Operations at ARTHEx Biotech since February 2020. Pedro is also the Co-founder and advisor at Biotech Tricopharming Research since November 2018. Previously, they worked as a part-time lecturer at Universitat Politècnica de València from September 2017 to July 2021. Prior to that, Pedro served as a Technology Transfer Officer at INCLIVA Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria from March 2014 to January 2020, where they were responsible for scouting ideas/technologies, managing innovation projects and the patent portfolio, and facilitating R&D collaborations and technology transfer. Pedro also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Centre de Recerca en Agrigenómica from October 2011 to February 2014. Pedro has held various other roles throughout their career, including Visitor Scholar at The Ohio State University in 2012, International Projects Management at Fundació Bosch i Gimpera in 2011, Lab Manager at Universitat Politècnica de València from September 2010 to February 2011, and PhD Student at Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas from January 2006 to August 2010. Pedro also had a brief stint as a Visitor Scholar at Wageningen University in June and July 2008.
Pedro Fernandez Nohales, PhD, RTTP completed their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at the University of Valencia from 1999 to 2004. Pedro then pursued their Doctorate in Biotechnology at the Universitat Politècnica de València from 2005 to 2011. In 2013, they undertook a Postgraduate in Research & Development Management at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Additionally, from 2013 to 2016, they obtained further education and professional certification in Intellectual Property at the Universitat de Barcelona.
