Lou Barnes

Lou Barnes currently serves as a Sr. Product Specialist in Orthobiologics and Vet Systems at Arthrex and is also a member of the Advisory Committee on Blood & Tissue Safety & Availability for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Previously, Lou held leadership roles such as President and COO at Vivex Biologics and Executive Director at DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank. Contributions to the American Association of Tissue Banks included serving as Chair and Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Governors. Additional experience includes positions at Osiris Therapeutics, Organ Recovery Systems, Regeneration Technologies Inc., and LifeNet Health. Lou Barnes holds an Executive MBA and an MBA from the University of Alabama, as well as a BS Ed. in Education from The University of Georgia.
