Kelley Gulley

Kelley Gulley, MBA, has an extensive work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Kelley is currently serving as the Chief of Staff at the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation since July 2021. Previously, they worked at The James Irvine Foundation as an Initiative Director from February 2020 to July 2021, and as a Senior Program Officer from August 2016 to February 2020.

Kelley also served as the President of KDG Enterprises from January 2012 to February 2020. Prior to that, they held simultaneous roles at Thrive Foundation for Youth, including Interim Managing Director from September 2015 to April 2016, and Director of Portfolio Management from June 2014 to April 2016. During their tenure at Thrive Foundation, Kelley played a crucial role in designing and launching a new national grant-making strategy.

Before joining Thrive Foundation, Kelley held significant positions at the National Community Development Institute (NCDI). Kelley served as the President & CEO of NCDI from October 2007 to March 2012, where they successfully navigated the organization through the impact of the 2008 market crash. Prior to that, they worked as the Executive Vice President at NCDI and as the Midwest Regional Director.

Kelley's earlier work experience includes serving as the Special Projects Administrator at Eastern Star Church from November 2003 to November 2005. Kelley was responsible for providing technical assistance to various church departments and overseeing fund development efforts for non-profit spin-offs.

Additionally, Kelley made notable contributions as the President & CEO of the Indianapolis Private Industry Council from May 1999 to June 2002. Under their leadership, they oversaw the implementation of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 in the City of Indianapolis and managed a substantial budget.

In 2015, Kelley attended Fuller Theological Seminary, where they obtained a Master of Arts in Theology & Ministry (MATM) degree, specializing in Theology and Ministry.
