Junsoo Chung

Junsoo Chung is a Boston College student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Environmental Studies. Currently serving as the Boston College Delegate to COP29 for the United Nations, Junsoo is also a member of the Student Advisory Board at the Schiller Institute for Integrated Science and Society, focusing on environmental awareness and research grant allocation. As a Research Fellow with the Loss and Damage Youth Coalition, Junsoo addresses climate change impacts and advocates for youth leadership in climate justice. Prior experience includes a role as an ESG Consultant at the Korea Productivity Center, where Junsoo developed various sustainability reports and policies for major corporations. Additionally, Junsoo has worked as a Teaching Assistant and a Staff Writer for The Heights, Inc., enhancing skills in economics and journalism. Educational background includes a summer program at Seoul National University and an International Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma from the International School Ho Chi Minh City.
