Raquel Renno Nunes

Raquel Renno Nunes is a Senior Digital Programme Officer at ARTICLE 19 since February 2020, focusing on global digital connectivity. Previous roles include Consultant with Open Society Foundations, where support was provided to design events on Technology and Human Rights, and Programme Officer for a brief period, overseeing the Defending the Open and Public Arena initiative. Raquel has also served as Project Lead for Tactical Technology Collective, Consultora in Digital Culture at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and Senior Research Consultant at Coding Rights. Academic appointments include Adjunct Professor at Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia and Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora.
