Felipe Viana

Felipe Viana is an experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence and engineering, currently serving as the Head of Applied Research at Articul8 AI since January 2024. Prior to this role, Felipe was the Director of AI at Intel Corporation from October 2022 to January 2024. Felipe's academic background includes a position as Assistant Professor in Applied Machine Learning at the University of Central Florida from December 2017 to September 2022 and extensive research roles at GE Renewable Energy and GE Global Research, where responsibilities included leadership in prognosis, machine health, and data science. Felipe holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida and has earned multiple degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia.
