Claire McWhirter

Claire McWhirter is an accomplished professional in the field of biological chemistry and enzymology, currently serving as Associate Director at Artios since June 2018. Prior to this role, Claire held various positions at AstraZeneca, including Senior Principal Scientist, Principal Scientist, and Senior Research Scientist between December 2011 and May 2018, along with earlier roles such as Enzyme Assay Development Scientist and Post Doctoral Research Fellow. Experience also includes a tenure as Research Scientist at Bioline and Post Doctoral Research Associate at Weill Cornell Medical College. Claire earned a PhD in Biological Chemistry/Enzymology and an MChem in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield, completing these degrees in 2006 and 2003, respectively.
