Job description

The Executive Assistant will be responsible for supporting Artisan Partners’ International Value investment team with a wide range of administrative and project management tasks. This person must have excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, be exceedingly well-organized and flexible, and demonstrate a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the investment management industry is required.

Base Salary Range: $90,000–$105,000

Specific placement within the provided range will be determined by an individual’s geographic location as well as relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Associates may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon Firm and individual performance.

Responsibilities

The candidate can expect to:

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel for the entire investment team as needed, including trip planning, travel bookings, creating itineraries, and expense reporting.
  • Manage multiple dynamic team calendars, balancing and prioritizing requests and meetings to keep the team aligned and on schedule while anticipating changes.
  • Assist team with gathering research material.
  • Act as a liaison and gatekeeper as it relates to calls, meetings, and external requests.
  • Work on ad hoc projects, as directed.
  • Work closely with the team members in Boston and San Francisco to ensure all investment operational needs are addressed.
  • Act as backup to the office manager, working together to ensure the office phone lines, lunch orders, groceries, and office supplies are efficiently managed.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in delivering high-level administrative support to executives in the investment industry.
  • Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of various high-priority meetings and travel.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at the same time with a commitment to quality and deadlines.
  • A sense of urgency and resourceful approach to problem-solving in the face of shifting priorities or unanticipated events.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A mature and professional approach to work.
  • Proven ability to work in a team and build relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in video conferencing software, including Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet, and Webex.
  • Must be adept with technology and quick to adapt to new systems and tools.
  • Availability to assist after hours when needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
