Elizabeth Diaz-Escobar

Elizabeth was born in Mexico City, grew up in San Antonio and left in 2011 to move to Austin, Texas to attend the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em) where she studied advertising.

Elizabeth started her career in Washington DC doing Public Relations for nonprofits. After spending 2 years in DC, she moved back to Austin and started working at GLG where she worked with PE and Venture Capital clients. After getting her feet wet in recruiting, she joined a small boutique search firm called Assembly Group. There she learned how to find talent across a variety of functions, mainly for PE-backed B2B SaaS companies.

Elizabeth is joining the Product + Engineering practice supporting Chris Johnson and Alex Zakuposwky with VP of Product/VP of Engineering/CPO/CTO level searches. In her free time, you can find her exploring Austin hiking, eating Mexican food, and taking her dog Ruby on adventures.
