Sunny Vachher

Sunny Vachher has over twelve years of work experience in the media and entertainment industry. From 2010 to 2021, Sunny was a Producer, Executive Producer, and Writer at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In 2021, Sunny was appointed UN Creative Ambassador for the United Nations. In the same year, Sunny also became a Member of For(bes)The Culture, a hub for elite leaders of color. From 2016 to 2021, Sunny was a Producer for TED Conferences and from 2017 to 2021, Sunny was a Head Mentor and Awards Committee Member for Young Storytellers. In 2019, Sunny joined ARTISTE PRO\u2122 as an Investor, Head of Partnerships, Senior Advisor, and Chair of the Advisory Board. From 2013 to 2021, Sunny was a Board of Advisors and Film Screening Committee Member for NewFilmmakers Los Angeles. In 2021, Sunny became a Partner, Executive Producer, and Board of Directors Member for New Moon Films. In 2022, Sunny was honored as Changemaker of the Year 2022 by Act To Change and The Asian American Foundation and was also a Youth Mentor and AAPI Leader. Additionally, Sunny is the Chair of the Advisory Board for The DG Sentinel.

Sunny Vachher's educational history began in 1987 when they attended The Emerald Heights International School, Indore for their General Education Diploma. Sunny then attended Patrick Henry Middle School from 1994 to 1997, again for their General Education Diploma. From 1997 to 2001, Sunny Vachher attended California State University, Northridge, where they earned a Bachelors of Science in Finance and Real Estate as a double major. In 2009, Sunny Vachher attended Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship in 2011.
