Kenneth R. Gerleve is an accomplished professional in the fields of book arts and design, currently serving as Interim Co-President at Artists Book House since June 2019. Gerleve's extensive experience includes managing artistic projects for bestselling authors such as Audrey Niffenegger and Eddie Campbell as Studio Manager, and co-writing and designing for the original animated play "Strange Tails." In addition to contributions to numerous exhibitions, Kenneth has held roles in communications and freelance graphic design, while also engaging in teaching roles at esteemed craft schools. Kenneth's academic credentials include an MFA in Interdisciplinary Book and Paper Arts from Columbia College Chicago and a BFA in Studio Arts from the University of Illinois Chicago.

Artists Book House is an interdisciplinary arts education organization dedicated to teaching and promoting the literary and book arts and offering a non-credit arts education open to all. Through community, education, exhibitions, and events, we help people tell their stories and transform their worlds into books. Future offerings to include: Artists Books, Literary Books, Books on Art, Classes on Bookbinding, Handmade Paper, Letterpress, Illustration, Writing, Typography, Design, and more. Based in Chicago, we are temporarily headquartered at Colvin House while we search for our future home.
