Derrick Jones

Derrick Jones has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Derrick is currently the Director of Global IT Service Delivery at Artivion, Inc. In the past, they have worked as a Principal Consultant at 3 Sixty Cyber, LLC - Artivion, Inc. and as a Senior Program Manager at Merlin International. At EY, they held several roles including Global Lead E-Discovery & Cyber Investigations, Global Lead Cyber Defense Response Center, and Global Cyber Defense Service Delivery Manager. Derrick also worked at the Library of Congress and Zermount, Inc. as a Cyber Security Project Manager and a Sr. Program Manager respectively. Prior to that, they held positions as the Director of Compliance and Senior Security Consultant at EnterEdge Technology, and as a Principle and Consultant at JAD CORPORATION. Derrick also served as the VP Sales/Strategic Accounts at Red Hat. Derrick has a proven track record of managing global cyber defense programs, developing security strategies, and delivering innovative solutions.

Derrick Jones obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology PreMed from Dillard University, completing their education between 1981 and 1986. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career in various fields such as network security, project management, penetration testing, and more. These certifications include the Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE 1) from Fortinet in July 2018, the GIAC Certified Project Manager (GCPM) from GIAC in August 2015, the Certified Penetration Tester (CPT) from the Information Assurance Certification Review Board in April 2013, the IBM QRadar Certified Associate from IBM in February 2013, the Juniper Network Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) from Juniper Networks in March 2010, the VMware Certified Professional (VCP) from VMware in February 2009, the QualysGuard Certified Consultant (QCC) from Qualys in January 2009, the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in December 2007, and the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2 in December 2007.
