Sandhya Velu, MS, MBA, currently serves as the Manager of Sustaining Engineering at Artivion, Inc., overseeing a team of 10 engineers to ensure project adherence to timelines and budgets. Sandhya has significant experience in managing engineering activities for EU MDR submissions and coordinating product packaging remediation for compliance and rebranding efforts. Prior roles at Artivion include Project Lead for an Ascending Aortic Prosthesis design project, where financial savings of $1.5 million were projected. Sandhya also has experience as a Product Engineer at Alcon, focusing on design and process validations for surgical instruments.
