Senior Process Development Engineer, Downstream Process Development at Celldex Therapeutics

Amy Sevigny has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Amy started their career at Pfizer in 2017 as a Pilot Facility Engineering Co-op in Biopharmaceutical Process Development. Amy then moved on to Northeastern University, where they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Dr. Nasim Annabi in 2017 and for Dr. Zhaohui "Sunny" Zhou in 2018. In 2018, they also interned at Concert Pharmaceuticals as a Process Chemistry Co-op.

In 2019, Amy joined CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Unit Operations Engineering Co-op in a part-time capacity. Amy also worked at Sarepta Therapeutics as an Associate in Oligonucleotide Chemistry during the same year. In 2020, they joined Sanofi Genzyme as an Associate Scientist in Upstream MSAT Pilot Lab.

Continuing their career, Amy joined Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. in 2021 as a Research Associate II in Upstream Process Development. In 2022, they transitioned to DynamiCure Biotechnology as a Senior Research Associate I in CMC Upstream Process Development.

Currently, in 2023, Amy is employed at Celldex Therapeutics as a Senior Process Development Engineer in Downstream Process Development.

Amy Sevigny pursued their education in a disciplined and determined manner. From 2014 to 2019, they attended Northeastern University and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering. Demonstrating their commitment to academic growth and specialization, they subsequently enrolled in Tufts University for the period of 2021 to 2023. At Tufts University, they are currently working towards obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioengineering.
