Steve Mottershead

Steve Mottershead has extensive experience in the visual effects and creative industries, currently serving as Executive Creative Director, Founder, and Partner at Artjail, overseeing operations in NYC, Toronto, and LA since January 2009. Steve's expertise encompasses flame finishing, visual effects, color correction/grading, and CG animation. Previous roles include Director at Soft Citizen and Park Pictures, and Lead Flame Artist at Outside Edit + Design, demonstrating a strong background in commercial direction and visual artistry. Educational qualifications include a 3-year diploma in Media Arts/Film from Sheridan College and a Fine Arts degree through a joint program with Dundas Valley School of Arts at McMaster University.
